Hi, Bill! Somewhere around here there's a list of the aliases people use
(yeah--like it's the freakin' log in high school or something).
HerOwnSourGelatine = David Linden (eminent professor and pop-science
author);
Queen Mab/Toughslush = Joy (literary bum);
Bark of Delight = Keith (works with people who do special effects for
movies);
Something unpronouncable = John T. (financial analyst, linguist; gossip);
Where's_the_Log? = Eric (also works on motion picture special effects;
recently married; expecting first child in three . . .two . . . one);
Georgie Hinklemyer = Debbie Oisboid (I might have the spelling wrong; she
spells it differently than Keith did in high school; three kids, lives in
Chatsworth)
Hiram Gonash = Dean (I may have that wrong, too--in which case I'm sure I'll
get corrected instantly; three kids, lives in Chatsworth, IN THE SAME HOUSE
WITH THE BOYS' MOTHER--who manages THAT these days?);
Jack, whom I'm sure you're up-to-the-minute on;
Rin, ditto.

Others who check in once in a while:
Daphne (mother of two; works in Manhattan);
Alex (doing fun things with his life that probably don't sound ambitious,
but he's happy; yay!);
David Coons (owns his own business doing high-end scanning);
Richard Conner (still programming, I gather--do I have that right?);

Others who are sort of in touch, but don't seem to monitor this list:
Jennifer Turley Epelbaum (Brooklyn--full-time mom)
Paul Turley (married, one child; Bay Area)
Greg Turk and his wife Mary (he's at Georgia Tech; she's at the CDC; two
children)
Susan Crawford (Law Prof in Michigan)
Dr. Susan Perry Hall (who lives with her husband and two kids in Tehachapi,
CA)
Sandra Loh (radio personality/book author/writer for The Atlantic)
Kate Sanford (film editor in Brooklyn; works on fun projects; two kids);
Paul Lockhart (math teacher in Brooklyn, doing some writing about math on
the side; three kids).

I'm sure I'm forgetting several pivotal people, who will now shun me, and
we'll therefore have lots of drama. Yay!

Love,

Joy
