Anyone who has looked at John's pranks over the years knows that he never makes up stories about himself.

John will make up stories about many of us, but never himself...

The David Coons Naked on Top of a Flagpole Story comes to mind.

The passport story is real, and both amazing and sad.

  It appears that some folks out there still do not believe my passport

  You know, my brother-in-law Yoni nearly died in that terrible event,
  since he was in the street directly below the WTC at the time the
  plane went in the building. As the story was told to me, Yoni heard a
  terrible noise and looked up. As flames came out of the building,
  debris started to come down, and he had to make a run for it. He got
  away, but many other innocent people were not so lucky. What a
  horrible thing!

  So, I am sure you all agree that to make a prank out of this would be
  in EXTREMELY poor taste.
