Nahh, Saddam is toast even if still alive...

When you argue that the Islamic Fundies may have influence you have a point,
because they do stand for an ideology that many people believe in

But the only power that Saddam had was sheer brute force. He was a Baathist
whcih can best be described (I credit Mike for this one) as Arab Nazis, but
in reality Saddam stood for only one thing...Saddam.

Without his military and thugs he is really not much. He was an embarassment
to even the most radical Arabs.
