The Circus has come to Town

What fun.

So a bunch of grumpy summer heat-exhausted yahoos in exurban shopping malls have pulled it off. We are actually going to spend 30 Million on this recall election. This while schools, health care, environmental protection, and you name it goes begging.

And the worst of it is that I have be on the same side as Gray Davis, a man with utterly no conviction to any cause other than Gray Davis..(.I just love how he quickly switched sides on many issues after shunning the liberals for nearly five years...NOW he needs us)

But this liberal is saying right now: Give us the Terminator. He is better for schools, the environment and probably a lot more. I am against the recall, and will vote against it on principle, but will not shed many tears for the Gray One if he gets Totally Recalled.( Can I vote against the recall AND vote for the Terminator too? Does anyone know?)

Let me point the finger of blame for this gigantic mess, if I can, to one more place..... LOCAL TV NEWS.....

Once upon a time, local news was sane, and so was the government. But then, in the spirit of that true American religion, GREED, they realized that they could make more money by focusing on car chases, gruesome crimes, and T&A, ( not to mention promo tie-ins with entertainment that was airing on the same network O & O station). They dared not cover DULL things like Sacramento....( schools, roads, health care, BORING!!!!!!!!!) And when some of us complained that they were dumbing down the people for ratings we were called ELITISTS...and un- AMURICAN) Of course, they WOULD be covering election night, and would have the CHUTZPAH to lambaste us for not voting, even though they had NOT covered it at all.

Well cheer up! THIS recall WILL be covered, especially if Arnold runs. The circle has closed....

And WHY?

Because real life HAS become a circus! Politics IS now as entertaining as car chases. In fact, how many car chases and explosions have been in Terminator films????? See my point?

As for T & A, I did hear that Angelyne is running ( No joke)

Just love it!
