Re: The Circus has come to Town
I'll take Riordan or Schwarzenegger. More panache with the
latter, and maybe a bit less of a need to toe the establishment
line with respect to drug policy. Better experience with the former,
and maybe more of a commitment to staying in the job long-term
(rather than going off to make another movie).
Riordan has more experience in actually running things in a
governmental capacity, but Arnold will likely get excellent
advice--and he does have a business background. Fortunately,
Riordan says he won't run if Arnie does.
It's not a circus, boys and girls. It's serious: the state is bleeding
jobs, and there are teacher cuts left and right. Not good for
teachers OR kids. We've spent the surplus on luxuries, and have
nothing left for necessities. Thirty million on an election is
nothing next to what Davis has pissed away--and will continue
to, if he stays in power.
And it ain't a partisan question at all: Davis' ineptness has
nothing to do with him being a Democrat. He's a special breed of
incompetent.
FWIW, both Riordan and Arnold are considered "traitors," and
"RINOs" [Republicans In Name Only] on the far right. They are
both real centrists, and either one should be able to stop
sending businesses out of the state--which would put more
people back to work.
Lenny: As I understand it, there will be two questions on the
ballet: 1) are you for recalling Davis, and 2) whom do you want in
the governor's office? I don't know if you can answer No, and still
go on to vote for a new governor. I wouldn't see why you'd want to
do it though, when you admit the state's in serious trouble.

Can I vote against the recall AND vote for the Terminator too?
Does anyone know?)

GREED, they realized that they could make more money by
focusing on car chases, gruesome crimes, and T&A, ( not to

like Sacramento....( schools, roads, health care, BORING!!!!!!!!!)
And when some of us complained that they were dumbing down

and would have the CHUTZPAH to lambaste us for not voting,
even though they had NOT covered it at all.
