Yes, I often go by Jadis. It is always closed.
Is it pronounced "yaadeez" or "jade-iss" or "zhaadee" ???
I assumed that entry was by invitation only, or something. Not very
profitable, though, to own a store that is always closed! I recall
noticing a really cool Hungarian typewriter (it was obvious - the long
and short umlauted vowels are a total giveaway!). And yes, all the
"mad scientist" lab stuff. Awesome. But the best I could ever do was
look inside the window and never enter. I suppose that I was not
worthy of an invitation!
Hmpf!
Yes, Jadis is never open. Yet it was open on Sunday. A contradiction?
No, rather an exception: "It is the exception that proves the rule."
Someone used to say this all the time in High School. I dunno, I
thought it needed to be said again.
