Hey, Joy.
I went onto IMDb and did a search where this movie was playing. For
the zip code of 90403 (Santa Monica), I got the following:
AMC Loews Broadway 4:
1441 Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401, 310-458-1506
An American Carol, 1 hr 24 mins 5.3/10 (2,042 votes)
Buy Tickets: 2:20pm | 4:35 | 7:00 | 9:00
I am able to purchase tickets online for tonight's showing at 9PM.
Just to be sure, I then called Loew's Theater and spoke to someone.
When I asked what was playing, some guy listed all the movies,
including American Carol. I asked for the times, and he told me the
same as what I saw online.
Geez, Joy. Do you honestly believe there is some grand scheme to
stop people from seeing American Carol? If some theaters are doing
this, then please supply their names. I would be the first to
boycott a theater that did that! I would call them on the phone!
Ugh. The other night Larry Elder was going over this same
topic. "Some theaters are not letting people see American Carol."
intoned the Venerable Mr. Elder. The dittoheads (or whatever you
call the sycophants of Larry Elder's show) were chiming in with
their own sad experiences. Funny though, no theater name was
mentioned. So what? I am sure it must be true.
This sounds like another Liberal Conspiracy, no doubt about it!
